The General Dynamics F-111E is a versatile multi-purpose fighter-bomber in the service of the USAF. Based on the original F-111A, the -E version differs primarily in the use of the revised "Triple-Plow II" engine inlet. Like the preceding -A model, the -E was designed with the Radar Homing and Warning gear (RHAW) installed. Hardpoints for additional electronics are located under the wings and fuselage.
