Possibly the most famous tank during world war 2, the German Tiger 1 enjoyed great success during its reign. The sight of a Tiger appearing on the battlefield often caused fear among allied tank commanders and as many hurried for cover, none would challenge a German Tiger in open combat. So great was this psychological fear, that it became to be known as "Tigerphobia". To prevent furher damage to allied morale, General Montgomery banned all reports mentioning of the prowness of the Tiger in combat.
Now this early version of the Tiger has been reproduced with authentic detail, complete with the engine, crew compartment, turret interior and ammunition storage.
